Executive Bios

Bram Belzberg – Chief Executive Officer

Bram Belzberg joined KEV Group in 2009.  After graduating from McGill University with Great Distinction, Bram joined Goldman Sachs’ High Yield Capital Markets group in New York, focusing on providing capital solutions to companies in the industrial, real estate and gaming sectors.  Following this role, Bram joined Amaranth Advisors LLC as an Associate, where he was a research analyst in the multi-strategy investment group focusing on companies in the mining, food and beverage and industrial sectors.  Bram holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.  Bram is the founder and a member of the advisory committee of the Annex Shul, Co-Chair of the Ben Gurion Society of Toronto and a director of AUM Management Services Inc.

Evelyn Eagle – Co-Founder

Evelyn Eagle is the co-founder and treasurer for the KEV Group.  She is a seasoned executive with many years of business experience and brings the culmination of over 25 years of education experience to this key management position.  She is KEV Group’s technology visionary and guides our product and implementation teams to ensure success for our current and prospective customers.

Kim Vivian-Downs – Co-Founder

Kim Vivian-Downs is the co-founder of the KEV Group.  Kim brings over 18 years of experience working in Education and leads the sales and marketing team. Kim’s passion to “Reduce the Risk” and improve the “quality of life” for schools, coupled with years of District and Fraud research inspired her to become a leader in the Student Activity Funds arena.  Kim has been invited to speak at more than 10 state ASBO conferences and 3 international conferences to share her expertise on the subject of Student Activity Funds.

Kyle Hodgson – Chief Technology Officer

Kyle Hodgson joined KEV Group in 2009. He is responsible for the technology needs across the KEV Group and leading the Software Development team. He also manages the relationships with KEV Group’s many infrastructure vendors to ensure that KEV Group’s sound technology foundation is always growing to support its new ventures. Kyle’s background and leadership in technology spans 15 years and many industries, with a specialty in Financial Services and Payment Networks.

Glen Allison – Director of Sales & Marketing

An accomplished executive, Glen Allison brings 18 years of cross functional experience and value to KEV group. Glen held past Sr. Executive positions with Xerox Canada Ltd., RECALL North America, Kronos Incorporated and most recently Executive Vice President of WDI. Glen’s leadership will continue to grow KEV’s sales and marketing organization to exciting levels.

Richard Lowden - Director of Finance & Risk Management

Richard Lowden joined KEV Group in March 2010. After graduating from university, he articled at an audit firm in London, UK before working in venture capital and offshore finance. Richard gained an investment management license and co-founded a private wealth management firm specializing in real-estate and fine wine mutual funds, with which he enjoyed 7 successful years. Richard holds 2 professional accountancy designations and has served as Director for several companies across the globe.

Joshua Shuval - Director of Operations

Joshua Shuval joined KEV Group in 2010.  After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2006.  During his time in public practice, Josh obtained extensive experience providing both audit and consulting services to both large public and smaller private businesses.  At KEV, Josh is responsible for coordination of special projects,  product design, employee growth and product and client management.  Josh’s  involvement in community associations include co-chair of Impact Toronto, and is past co-  chair of Young Lawyers and Accountants and Impact Toronto Campaign.
